Lawson Research Personnel Management System (RPMS)

Lawson Research Personnel Office is responsible for providing human resource services for Lawson researchers and staff, including acting as liaison between hospital HR departments and Western faculties. This includes employee recruitment, retention, health and safety, performance development and coordination of scientists’ appointments within Lawson.  

 

Lawson RPMS will be used by the Lawson Research Personnel Office to perform the following tasks: 

  • View the employment history of employees
  • View and manage the employee information
  • Hire new employees
  • Change existing employee information
  • Create and track positions
  • Electronically process the HR forms 
  • Coordinate scientists' appointments and membership within Lawson
  • Process volunteer registration
  • Produce reports and extract data

 

Lawson RPMS will assist the Lawson Research Personnel Office in data tracking and management, as well as better reporting and analysis of employee information.  In addition, it will allow Principal Investigators and Coordinators to submit documentation electronically for processing.
